By using our mobile applications, you agree that Xmarton may automatically use certain information and data that the user has given permission to use during the installation/update/or use of permissions. This may include, for example:

• The foreground location is used to display the user’s location on a map and to search for a Bluetooth device to automatically connect to the vehicle when the app is in use. The background location is only used to find Bluetooth devices when the app is not in use. Location is only used locally and data is not sent or otherwise processed.

Any data obtained directly by Xmarton is not shared with any third party and is used by Xmarton only for its own use in order to enable the provision of selected functions of the mobile applications and for anonymous analysis of the use of these applications in order to improve the services provided. The data obtained can be stored in Xmarton for an unlimited period of time in order to provide users with the requested services.

Xmarton may also use the data that the user provides to the operators of individual mobile device platforms (Android, iOS, Windows) and that the operator provides to application developers such as Xmarton according to its own privacy policy. This may include your device model and ID, IP address, MAC address, information about the use of our applications, and more. Xmarton’s goal is never to identify you as a person.

Xmarton may also use third-party services within its mobile applications to provide, for example, anonymized statistical data on application usage, application crashes, etc. These services are subject to their own user data protection policies, which are available from the providers of these services. If you do not agree with the above principles, we ask you not to use our mobile applications.

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your browser when you first visit our website and stored there. When using the same device/browser, cookies or the information contained in them are sent back to our website or other websites, confirming that our website was accessed with the same browser. Our website uses both technical cookies, which are necessary to ensure the proper display and functioning of our website according to your requirements and needs, and cookies used to create personalized advertising offers with regard to your preferences and interests.

The following data is stored within the cookie: date and time of your visit to our website, name of the accessed (product) page or your pseudonymised (shortened) IP address. The cookies we use do not contain any personal data and therefore cannot be directly assigned to any user of the website. Alternatively, you can configure your browser so that you are informed about the storage of cookies and can decide on a case-by-case basis whether they are stored, or so that you can exclude the storage of cookies in certain cases or in general. However, we would like to point out that if you deactivate individual cookies, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. All data obtained is then deleted, no later than 13 months after the last use of cookies. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), to analyse the use of the website by individual website users. The information collected by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The data is only transmitted after it has been anonymised, i.e. the user’s IP address is shortened within the EU member states and the European Economic Area, which means that your IP address loses its personal character and cannot be used to identify you.
